Lotus Garden Lotus Products DIY Tourism Factory Introduction
The bakery was established in 1972. Following the policy to promote local industries, the "One Township, One Product" initiative emerged, leading to the launch of the Baihe Lotus Flower Festival. This coincided with the production of processed lotus seed products, which have been offered as gifts for 15 years, with over 40 different varieties. Due to the need for a working space and tourist visits, the lotus garden agricultural processing plant was established in 2003, allowing visitors to observe the production of lotus seed products. In 2010, the policy advocating rice-based foods encouraged the factory to fully research and develop baked rice products made with 100% no flour. Currently, there are 16 mature products, including rice buns, which surpass the quality and texture of products from advanced countries. A press conference was held on August 5th in the lobby of the Council of Agriculture, where it received unanimous praise from various organizations including the Agriculture and Food Agency and the Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute.
