Lotus Garden Lotus Products DIY Tourism Factory Introduction
The bakery was established in 1972. Later, with the promotion of local industries through government policy, the "one town, one product" initiative emerged. The Baihe Lotus Festival was initiated, during which it showcased its processed lotus seed products as souvenirs for 15 years, with over 40 varieties. Due to the demand from workplaces and tourist visits, a lotus nursery processing factory was established in 2003, allowing tourists to observe the production of lotus seed products. In 2010, the government advocated for rice-based foods, and this factory comprehensively re-developed baked rice products made with 100% flour-free recipes. Currently, there are 16 mature products, including rice bread, which have superior quality and taste compared to those from advanced countries. A presentation event was held on August 5 in the lobby of the Council of Agriculture, receiving unanimous praise from the Agriculture and Food Agency, the Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute, and other organizations.
