Shih's Lamb Introduction
Shijia Lamb has been operating for over 40 years in the Guiren Public Market and is a time-honored snack stall. The lamb dishes offered are simple, with fresh meat and generous portions. The signature dish, Angelica Sinensis Lamb Soup, features a unique and rich broth made with an exclusive recipe combining various Chinese herbal medicines, delivering a sweet taste that is neither greasy nor bitter, making it popular among customers. Additionally, lamb noodles, rice vermicelli, and fried rice prepared with traditional ingredients are also well-received. In 2008, Shijia Lamb was certified as an outstanding food stall by the Nanying Food Certification and was selected by the Ministry of Economic Affairs as a Master of Taiwan Markets, recognized as the "Light of Famous Stalls." In 2010, it received a three-star rating from the Ministry of Economic Affairs at the Living Market, making it the only three-star market stall in former Tainan County, showcasing the strength of this time-honored lamb stall.
