Shih's Lamb Introduction
Shi's Lamb has been operating in the Guiren Public Market for over 40 years and is known as a time-honored snack stall. It offers a simple variety of lamb dishes that feature fresh meat and generous portions. The shop's signature dish, Angelica Lamb Soup, has a unique broth that is rich and simmered with an exclusive recipe made from various Chinese herbs. The soup is sweet, not greasy or astringent, making it a popular choice among customers. Additionally, the traditional lamb noodle soup, rice noodles, and fried rice dishes are also well-received. In 2008, Shi's Lamb received the Nan Ying Food Certification and was selected as a Master of Taiwan Markets by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, recognized as the "Light of Famous Stalls." In 2010, it was awarded a three-star rating by the Ministry of Economic Affairs as a lively market stall, making it the only three-star market stall in Tainan County, showcasing the strength of this time-honored lamb stall.
