Ming Hsin Food - Guiren Store Introduction
Ming Hsin Foods was founded in 1962, establishing its first store near National Cheng Kung University and Tainan First Senior High School (now at the intersection of Changrong Road and Dongning Road). Initially, it was a grocery store selling daily necessities. Mr. Hsu Jun-Hsiung, the current Chairman, foresaw that Western-style pastries would change the eating habits of the Taiwanese, so he proactively went to the Taipei Nangang Bakery School (now the Grain Products Research Institute) to learn about baking knowledge and techniques. Gradually, the grocery store was transformed into a Western-style pastry specialty shop, officially restructured as "Ming Hsin Foods Co., Ltd." in 1989 to accompany the development of Tainan's East District. "Mingyue dang chuang hua bing di, xin ren lin jing yan shuang fei" (The moonlight shines on the window, flowers grow together, and the newlyweds fly together like swallows.), Ming Hsin Foods, based on its long-standing experience in baking, has witnessed countless happiness and heritage.
