Duck King Introduction

The owner of Er cheng Duck King, Lee Ming-Chung, originally worked as a chicken farmer. However, he became aware of the manipulation of chicken prices by chicken traders and the exploitation that resulted, with chicken farmers earning very little. During times of low prices, he would suffer significant losses, prompting him to decisively leave the poultry industry he had been in for many years and switch to selling snacks. With no prior experience in snacks, Lee Ming-Chung had relatives who sold duck noodles and other snacks in Fengshan District. He made a special trip to learn from them, and with their generous guidance, he acquired the skills to make duck noodles. Upon returning home, he established "Duck King" at the current location in Er cheng and began his journey in selling duck noodle dishes. Er cheng Duck King primarily sells duck meat, duck intestines, duck noodle soup, and duck meat vermicelli. The duck meat used at Duck King comes from local ducks raised for 65 to 70 days, which are processed and then carefully dried in a pot. Since no water is added in the pot, the cooking relies entirely on skill. The duck intestines are crispy and flavorful.
