Duck King Introduction

The owner of Er Zhen Duck King, Li Ming-Tzung, was originally a chicken farmer. However, feeling exploited by the manipulation of chicken prices by vendors, he realized that the profit for chicken farmers was limited, often leading to losses during price downturns. Consequently, he decisively abandoned his years of chicken farming to venture into the snack business. As a newcomer to the snack trade, Li Ming-Tzung had relatives selling duck meat noodles and other snacks in Fengshan District, prompting him to travel there to learn. Under the generous guidance of his relatives, he mastered the skills of preparing duck meat noodles and returned home to establish "Duck King" in Er Zhen, thus beginning his journey in selling duck meat noodles. Er Zhen Duck King primarily sells duck meat, duck intestines, duck meat vermicelli, and duck meat noodles. The duck meat is sourced from native ducks raised for sixty-five to seventy days. After processing, it is marinated and roasted in a traditional pot without water, relying solely on skill for the cooking temperature. The duck intestines are crispy and flavorful.
