Duck King Introduction
The owner of Erzhen Duck King, Li Mingzong, was originally a chicken farmer. However, feeling manipulated by chicken traders who exploit the prices and realizing that the profits for chicken farmers are limited—especially during price downturns where they can suffer severe losses—he resolutely gave up his years of chicken farming to switch to selling snacks. Being inexperienced in the snack industry, Li Mingzong had a relative in Fengshan District who sold duck noodles and other snacks. He specifically went to learn from his relative, who thoroughly imparted the skills of making duck noodles to him. Upon returning to his hometown, he established "Duck King" in Erzhen and began his career in selling duck noodles. Erzhen Duck King primarily sells duck meat, duck intestines, duck vermicelli, and duck noodles. The duck meat at Duck King is sourced from native ducks that are raised for 65 to 70 days. After processing, the meat is marinated and dried in a pot, with no water added, relying solely on skill for the cooking heat. The duck intestines are crispy and fragrant.
