Shih's Small Squid Rice Noodles Introduction
The small squid rice noodles on Zhonghua West Road originated from an old shop on Guohua Street, and later moved to this relatively remote location due to certain circumstances. Despite the long journey, loyal patrons still continue to visit, and the old shop has not been forgotten. The broth of the small squid rice noodles is simmered from fresh small squids, and special coarse rice noodles are added. After continuous stewing, the rice noodles absorb the broth and break into pieces automatically. Upon tasting, the broth is sweet and clear, the rice noodles are soft yet not mushy, and the small squid is fresh and crispy. It's no wonder that loyal food enthusiasts remain so devoted.
