Baiyun Temple Introduction
Baiyun Temple, located on the White Sand Dunes, is the highest temple in the Qieding District. Established in the 28th year of the Republic of China, it is dedicated to Shakyamuni Buddha. The palace-style main structure is topped with yellow glazed tiles and features red pillars, standing majestically in a serene environment. Nestled against the sand dunes and facing the plains formed by the ancient Chia Lake's sedimentation, it offers a broad view from above, allowing visitors to breathe freely. The sounds of morning recitations and evening prayers, along with the chimes of the temple bell, are enough to help one forget the troubles of the earthly world.
