Baiyun Temple Introduction

Baiyun Temple on the Baishalun Sand Dunes is the highest temple in the Qieding District. Built in 1939, Baiyun Temple is dedicated to Shakyamuni Buddha, featuring a palace-style main structure adorned with yellow glazed tiles and vermilion beams. It is grand and majestic, set in a tranquil environment. Nestled against the sand dunes and facing the plain formed by the sedimentation of the ancient Xielake, it offers a broad view and a sense of openness. The morning and evening prayers, along with the resonant sound of the temple bell, are enough to let one forget the worries of the mundane world.
