Baiyun Temple Introduction

Baiyun Temple on the Baishalun Sand Dunes is the highest temple in the Qieding District. Established in 1939, Baiyun Temple is dedicated to Sakyamuni Buddha. The palace-style structure features yellow glazed tiles and vermillion beams, standing tall and majestic in a tranquil environment. Backed by sand dunes and facing the plain formed by the alluvial deposits of the ancient river, the temple offers a broad view from above. With morning and evening prayers, the sound of the temple bell allows visitors to forget the troubles of the worldly life.
