Baiyun Temple Introduction
Baiyun Temple, located on the Baishalun Sand Dunes, is the highest temple in the Qieding District. Established in the 28th year of the Republic of China, it is dedicated to Shakyamuni Buddha. The temple features a palace-style main structure adorned with yellow glazed tiles and vermilion pillars, presenting a majestic and grand appearance in a serene environment. Nestled against the sand dune area and facing the plain formed by the silt of the ancient Xia Lake, visitors can enjoy panoramic views that open their minds. The morning and evening prayers, accompanied by the sound of the ceremonial bell, are enough to help one forget the troubles of the mundane world.
