Baiyun Temple Introduction
The Baijun Temple on the Baishalun Sand Dunes is the highest temple in the Qieding District. Built in the 28th year of the Republic of China, Baijun Temple is dedicated to Shakyamuni Buddha. Its palace-style main structure is adorned with yellow glazed tiles and red pillars, majestic and grand, set in a tranquil environment. Nestled against the sand dunes and facing the plain formed by the sediment of the ancient Xie Lake, it offers a broad view from above, providing a sense of openness. The morning chanting and evening prayers, along with the sound of the temple bell, are enough to help one forget the troubles of the world.
