Baiyun Temple Introduction

Baishalun Sand Dunes' Baiyun Temple is the highest temple in the Qieding District. Baiyun Temple was built in 1939, dedicated to Shakyamuni Buddha, featuring a palace-style structure adorned with yellow glazed tiles and vermilion beams. Its majestic and magnificent appearance, along with a serene environment, is supported by the sand dune area and faces the plains formed by the ancient estuary. From its height, one can enjoy a broad view, and with morning and evening prayers accompanied by the sound of the temple bell, it is enough to make one forget the troubles of the world.
