Black Legend Sausage Museum Introduction
In 1957, Mr. Chen Wen-hui, the founder of Heqiao Food, established a family-operated meat processing factory near the Tainan Canal, commonly known as "Black Bridge" (currently known as Xin Nan Bridge). In 1973, the trademark "Heqiao Qiao" was registered, and in 1979, the factory was expanded to the Tainan Anping Industrial Zone, becoming the first automated meat processing plant in Taiwan. In December 2009, it was officially renamed "Heqiao Enterprise Co., Ltd.", and in 2012, the Heqiao Sausage Museum was established as a tourist factory, dedicated to educating and promoting the culture of meat processing and original culinary heritage.
