Heitao Brand Sausage Museum Introduction

In 1957, Mr. Chen Wen-hui, the founder of Heichia Brand Foods, established a family-run meat processing factory near the Tainan Canal, commonly known as "Black Bridge" (now the New South Bridge). In 1973, the trademark "Heichia Bridge" was registered, and in 1979, the factory was expanded to the Anping Industrial Zone in Tainan, becoming Taiwan's first automated meat processing facility. In December 2009, it was officially renamed "Heichia Enterprises Co., Ltd." In 2012, the Heichia Sausage Museum was established as a tourist factory, dedicated to educating about the meat processing industry and promoting the culture of local culinary heritage.
