Black Bridge Sausage Museum Introduction

In 1957, Mr. Chen Wen-hui, the founder of Heiwang Food, established a family-run meat processing factory near the Tainan Canal, commonly known as "Black Bridge" (now called New South Bridge). In 1973, the trademark "Heiwang Bridge" was registered, and in 1979, the factory expanded to the Anping Industrial Zone in Tainan, becoming Taiwan's first automated meat processing factory. In December 2009, it was officially renamed "Heiwang Enterprise Co., Ltd." In 2012, the Heiwang Sausage Museum was established as a tourism factory, dedicated to education in the meat processing industry and the transmission of the culture of original gourmet foods.
