The Erhjen River, approximately three kilometers long, was once severely polluted. After restoration, mangroves began to appear along the riverbank, attracting families of mud crabs and mudskippers to move in. Su Shui-long, a senior member of the Ciaotou Rafting Association in Kaohsiung, said, "We hope tourists can see the true appearance of the river and understand how precious and wonderful nature is."
