The Erhjen River, approximately three kilometers long, was once severely polluted. After rehabilitation, mangroves began to appear along the riverbank, attracting mud crabs and bopyrid shrimp to move in. Senior member Su Shui-long of the Cijin Rafting Association in Kaohsiung City said, "We hope tourists can see the true appearance of the river and understand how precious and wonderful nature is."
