The Erh-ren River, which is approximately three kilometers long, was once severely polluted. After remediation, mangroves began to appear along the riverbanks, attracting mudskippers and fiddler crabs to move in. Mr. Su Shui-long, a senior member of the Qieding Rafting Association in Kaohsiung City, said: "We hope that visitors can see the river in its true form and understand how precious and wonderful nature is."
