Tekhoo Bistro Introduction
A bistro bar opened by a native of Chiayi, you are welcome to wear shorts here. Many dining etiquette rules state that wearing shorts in a restaurant is unacceptable, but at Le Ching Burger, known for offering discounts for wearing shorts, a special té khòo shorts restaurant has been created to encourage everyone to enjoy a relaxed dining and drinking experience. When I casually asked the owner, Brother YC, if he rationalized his love for wearing shorts, he confidently replied, "Absolutely correct." So everyone come on over! Le Ching Burger is considered the pride of Chiayi, with locations expanding to Taipei, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung, increasingly becoming a powerful local burger brand. Looking back to the beginning of its founding in 2007, Brother YC and his nutritionist wife started with "thefreen – Fresh Green Living Fruit and Vegetable Store," not expecting that the accompanying burgers would become so popular. After the transformation into "Le Ching Burger," their dream of "sharing beloved dining culture" has never faded. The té khòo shorts restaurant not only serves to revisit the romantic memory of "Le Ching's predecessor - the fruit and vegetable store," but it is also one of the few restaurants in Chiayi promoting natural wine.
