Tekhoo Bistro & Bar Introduction
A bistro run by a Chiayi local, you are welcome to wear shorts here! Many dining etiquette teachings say that wearing shorts at restaurants is not acceptable, but at Le Ning Hamburger, known for its "shorts discount" brand feature, they have specially opened a té khòo shorts restaurant where everyone can enjoy casual dining and drinks. When I privately asked the owner, Brother YC, if he was justifying his love for wearing shorts, he replied, "Absolutely correct." So come on in! Le Ning Hamburger is regarded as the pride of Chiayi, with locations expanding to Taipei, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung, growing into a powerful local hamburger brand. Looking back to when it was founded in 2007, Brother YC, along with his nutritionist wife, started with "thefreen – fresh green healthy fruits and vegetables." Unexpectedly, the accompanying hamburgers became incredibly popular, and after transforming into "Le Ning Hamburger," their dream of "sharing a love for food culture" has never faded. The té khòo shorts restaurant not only revisits the romantic feelings of "Le Ning's predecessor - the fruit and vegetable shop" but is also one of the few restaurants in Chiayi promoting natural wines.
