Among the many brunch restaurants in Chiayi, Small Plate Café stands out for its variety and abundance of fresh greens. The owner's pride showcases their signature "Fried Pudding French Toast," made with French bread dipped in egg batter and cooked slowly, resulting in a golden, fragrant crust while maintaining a moist and delicate interior. It leaves guests wondering if there is pudding in it. Surprisingly, the answer is no, but the texture resembles that of pudding, which is how it got its name.
