BAR SKITZ Introduction
The smoke swirls in the cup. At the foot of Alishan, the mildly intoxicating SKIT is a piece of background music designed for auditory relaxation. It's somewhat like a sorbet served before the main course in Western cuisine, a transitional moment in motion. The shop owner, Xiaoqi, believes that a bar represents SKIT, a place to unwind after a busy day, where one can have a cocktail to settle the chaotic thoughts before heading home to rest. It serves as a gentle transition between life's scenes, with the bartender acting like a ferryman, swaying alongside customers to the rhythm of resonance as they come ashore. Bar Skitz is located in a quiet corner of Central Square, not far from the Cultural Road business district. As tourism in Chiayi surges and more young people return home, the nightlife is becoming increasingly vibrant. These factors inspire Xiaoqi to create unique cocktails: the specially designed "Shang" for night owls, which combines mature brandy with tea and coffee elements, providing a rich, lingering finish reminiscent of the mountain range guarding the city. The "Mountain Mist" features gin as its base, paired with Alishan Oriental beauty tea, presented with dried pine needles and oak smoke before serving, evoking the swirling clouds and mist of the mountains, and filled with a sense of ritual.
