Jiamu Residence Introduction
During the renovation process, Jiamu Residence adheres to the philosophy of restoration in repairing every detail. In addressing the decayed wooden structure, we not only replace it with similar materials but also employ traditional mortise and tenon techniques to repair each damaged beam and pillar. Additionally, we have strengthened the stability of certain originally loose but still usable structures, enhancing the aesthetic craftsmanship of wooden houses while ensuring safety. The goal is to renovate local characteristic buildings and integrate Chiayi's cultural creatives, artists, and collectors, providing a platform for the exhibition of creations and collectibles. This allows the public to interact directly with creators through the exhibition platform, as well as to offer related instructional courses and promote Chiayi's local cultural and creative industries via a dedicated information platform.
