At the Central First Shopping Plaza roundabout, near the 1250-meter elevation Chaxiang Chiayi Fountain roundabout, there is a hidden small roundabout featuring eight arches in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, and white. The surrounding buildings create a unique locale. The correct name is Central First Shopping Plaza, which was once prosperous and, despite its current quietness, offers a sense of serene seclusion, separated from the bustling Cultural Road Night Market. The travel platform "Island Walk" has transformed this location's beauty salon, which has been around for over 40 years, into the Chiayi New Ertong Cultural Base, launching the "Huan Shi Hao Shi" shared space. The opening event features a limited-time afternoon tea, collaborating with the tea brand "MORIYAMA" located at Xi Ding, which cultivates high mountain tea at an elevation of 1250 meters using organic fertilizers in an environmentally friendly way, delivering naturally additive-free tea to the foot of Alishan. MORIYAMA will not only fill the historic district of Chiayi City with its tea aroma but also introduce desserts from the renowned Kadoya Café in Tainan, offering a cross-disciplinary afternoon tea experience in the beautifully curved modern retro space of an old residence, capturing the essence of Chianan Plain.
