Zhuqi Old Shop Meatballs and Lamb Soup (formerly Beidou Uncle Meatballs) Introduction
The Unchanging Traditional Flavors Under the Banyan Tree Wencheng Store has a history of over seventy years. The founder, Mr. Zhan Wencheng, was originally from Beidou Township in Changhua, and everyone called him "Beidou Uncle." In the beginning, "Beidou Uncle" carried a small shoulder pole and sold dumplings and lamb soup under the large banyan tree at the crossroads. From "Beidou Uncle" to the present, it has been passed down through three generations, and for more than seventy years, it has only sold dumplings and lamb soup. The owner of the old store is dedicated to preserving the traditional flavors passed down from his ancestors, just like the large banyan tree that still stands strong, guarding the traditional tastes inherited from his grandfather. Amid the aroma of dumplings and lamb soup, there is the owner's warm hospitality and a strong sense of community.
