Zhuxi Old Shop Meatball and Lamb Soup (Formerly Beidou Uncle's Meatball) Introduction
Under the Banyan Tree's Unchanging Traditional Flavor Wencheng Store has a history of over seventy years. The founder, Mr. Zhan Wencheng, originally from Beidou Township in Changhua, is affectionately known as "Uncle Beidou." In the beginning, "Uncle Beidou" carried a small shoulder pole and sold meatballs and lamb soup under a large banyan tree at the intersection. From "Uncle Beidou" to the present, it has been passed down for three generations, and for over seventy years, only meatballs and lamb soup have been served. The store owner is dedicated to preserving the traditional flavors passed down from his ancestors, just like that sturdy banyan tree that stands tall, guarding the authentic flavors passed down from grandpa. Amid the aroma of meatballs and lamb soup, guests are welcomed with warmth and a strong sense of hospitality.
