Tangshan Mochi: A 70-Year Legacy of Authentic Taste In 1991, it won the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Traditional Flavor Food Award for its "Mochi Jelly," which has a history of 70 years. The founder, Lin Dong, learned the art of making authentic Tangshan mochi through a friendship with a local from Tangshan. The signature traditional mochi combines the aroma of glutinous rice with a chewy texture that doesn't stick to your teeth. Each piece features visible mung bean filling complemented by sweet and savory peanut powder, offering a uniquely delightful flavor.
