Hsuan Shan Lake Mountain Coffee Introduction

Established in 2004, Xuanshan Lake Forest Café covers an area of three hectares and is home to 1,800 coffee trees. The café's unique feature lies in its traditional production process, which includes harvesting, peeling, washing, drying, shelling, roasting, and brewing coffee. The owner initially introduced the Dongshan coffee variety to Dapu Township, and in 2006, the café won an award at the Cengwen Reservoir Coffee Festival coffee tasting competition. The Arabica coffee grown here is medium-roasted, with a flavor profile that is not acidic or astringent but slightly bitter yet sweet, and low in caffeine. Nestled in the misty, warm, and humid climate of Cengwen Reservoir, this organic Taiwanese coffee is grown without pesticides.
