You can hardly imagine that the inception of a restaurant began with the enthusiastic efforts of local residents. The formation of a concept can actually provide more job opportunities for families. After the New Port Cultural and Educational Foundation completed the uniquely styled Railway Park in 2001, it accomplished an impossible task in 2004 by collaborating with the township office. They rented the original railway station master's dormitory and completely revitalized the dilapidated building, creating a restaurant that blends old-world charm with diverse offerings, named "New Port Living Room." It is the first casual dining restaurant in New Port, aiming to provide a warm and comfortable dining space for New Port residents to entertain friends and family coming from afar.
