Hsuan Shan Lake Forest Coffee Introduction
Xuanshan Lake Forest Coffee Shop, established in 2004, covers an area of three hectares and is home to 1,800 coffee trees. The café's unique feature lies in its complete coffee production process, from harvesting, peeling, washing, drying, de-shelling, roasting, to brewing. Initially, the owner introduced the Dongshan coffee variety to Dapu Township, and in 2006, it won an award at the Tsengwen Reservoir Coffee Festival coffee tasting competition. The Arabica coffee grown here is medium-roasted, characterized by a lack of acidity and bitterness, with a slight sweetness and low caffeine content. Grown in the moist, warm, and humid climate of Tsengwen Reservoir, this organic Taiwanese coffee is produced without pesticides.
