Xuan Mountain Lakeside Forest Cafe Introduction
Xuan Mountain Lake Forest Cafe, established in 2004, covers an area of three hectares and is home to 1,800 coffee trees. The café's main feature is its consistent coffee production process, which includes harvesting, peeling, washing, drying, husking, roasting, and brewing. Originally, the owner brought the Dongshan coffee variety to plant in Dapu Township, and in 2006, it won an award at the Zengwen Reservoir Coffee Festival coffee tasting competition. The Arabica coffee grown here is medium roasted, presenting a flavor profile that is neither acidic nor astringent, with a slight bitterness and a sweet aftertaste. This low-caffeine Taiwanese coffee, cultivated in the misty, warm, and humid climate of the Zengwen Reservoir, is organic and free of pesticides.
