Xikou Traditional Pork Blood Soup Introduction
Located on Zhongxiao Street in Xikou Township, Xikou Traditional Pig's Blood Soup is a nostalgic delicacy that has been passed down for over half a century in the area. This stall was originally run by Ms. Zheng Furong and her husband. Due to its rich flavor and generous ingredients, it has evolved from being a roadside stall operated with a cart into a beloved taste among the locals in Xikou over the decades. To ensure that this great taste continues to be shared, the Zheng couple passed the stall to their brother and sister-in-law before their retirement. The current chef, Ms. Wu Qionghui, sister-in-law of Zheng, continues to uphold the traditional methods, allowing this beloved Xikou snack to continue nourishing the taste buds of many food enthusiasts.
