A-Jhen's Traditional Cuisine Introduction
Located at the entrance of Xikou Market and with no sign hanging outside, Sister A-Jen's traditional food has been in business for twenty years. Although the decor is not lavish, the owner and his wife are dedicated to preserving traditional flavors, filling the shop with familiar aromas loved by gourmets. Whether it's meat soup, rice cake, braised pork ribs, or other soups, everything is worth tasting. It's worth noting that the "Grandma's Taro Cake" is made only on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This signature dish has been passed down from the couple who once served as catering chefs and is now in its third generation. From the filling to the skin, everything is made by hand without any chemical additives, resulting in each piece being full of stuffing and unique in flavor. The skin is also very fragrant and chewy. Customers describe it perfectly as "once you eat it, you'll miss it; if you don't eat it, you'll think about it." To serve more customers, the shop now offers ordering and delivery for the taro cake and braised pork ribs, and the public is welcome to place orders.
