Guan Yun Mountain Villa is an old, renowned hotel in Fenqihu, featuring a restaurant known for its delicious "Mizuna Herbal Chicken Soup." This dish offers a rich and flavorful broth, known for its energy-boosting and health benefits, thoroughly satisfying food enthusiasts seeking a unique dining experience from palate to stomach. The owner is meticulous in the preparation of the Mizuna Herbal Chicken, starting with selecting and cutting the ingredients, then simmering them with special "herbal sugarcane," along with goji berries and red dates to enhance the flavor. After several hours of slow cooking, it transforms into a dish praised by all. Besides soup, Mizuna can also be deep-fried or made into Mizuna steamed buns, and even Mizuna omelets, creating a delightful Mizuna feast that liberates the taste buds at Guan Yun. If you order a set meal, the owner will pair it with high-altitude vegetables grown on the mountain, as well as wild ginger flowers and fragrant lotus, stir-frying them into nourishing dishes. One special dish at Guan Yun is the "Hens' Teeth," a delicacy that is rarely seen in urban areas, known to aid in reducing hypertension and cleansing the bloodstream, and it can also be juiced. Set meals at Guan Yun start from NT$2000 to NT$4000, and in addition to the set meals, you can also choose Fenqihu bento, with two combinations available: chicken thigh/pork rib bento or chicken thigh/braised eel bento (reservation required).
