Chen Qiujul, a handmade soap expert who has settled in Chishang for twenty years, began focusing on ecological and environmental issues by considering the recycling and reuse of waste oil from school lunch programs. Driven by the belief of "making the community where I live more eco-friendly, healthier, and more suitable for the next generation," she immersed herself in the field of handmade soap creation. Qiujul invested her own resources to study and dedicate considerable effort, creating everything from amazing eco-friendly soap to salad oil and laundry detergent for everyday cleaning purposes. While making handmade soap, she contemplated how to connect and develop local characteristics, incorporating the abundant resources hidden in the Huadong Valley and various essences into the simple-toned handmade soaps. Moreover, she tailored soap and shower gel formulas to different skin types, researching creative, family-friendly art glass soaps and skincare product workshops/DIY sessions/handmade soap training for instructors, and more. In addition to handmade soaps suitable for bathing and washing, there is a happy soap string activity that allows customers to unleash their creativity and enjoy the fun of hands-on crafting.
