Dapo Pond Introduction
Dapo Pond, also known as "Chishang Dapi," primarily receives its water from the underground flow of the Xinwulu River as well as overflow from the irrigation of nearby rice paddies. The water from the pond flows out through a drainage outlet to the north, making it one of the sources of the Xiuguluan River. Dapo Pond is a precious wetland that hosts many species, with various unique plants growing in the surrounding area, often attracting special birds and animals to inhabit. Every year in July and August, a large "Bamboo Rafting Season" event is held, featuring bamboo rafting experiences every weekend, providing a rich and enjoyable way to explore the lake. Tourists can leisurely appreciate the beautiful scenery while drifting on bamboo rafts, weaving between lotus leaves, creating a sensation of time travel.
