Dapo Pond Introduction
Dapo Pond, also known as 'Chi-Shang Dapu,' mainly receives its water source from the underground flow of the Xinwulu River and the overflow of artificial irrigation ditches from nearby rice fields. The water from the pond flows out to the north through a drainage outlet, becoming one of the sources of the Xiuguluan River. Dapo Pond is a precious wetland that is home to a variety of species, with many unique plants growing in the area, often attracting special birds or animals to settle here. In July and August each year, a large "Bamboo Rafting Season" event is held, featuring bamboo rafting experiences every weekend, providing a charming and enjoyable way to explore the lake. Visitors can leisurely appreciate the beautiful scenery while drifting on bamboo rafts, weaving through patches of lotus leaves, evoking a sense of nostalgia.
