Dapo Pond Introduction
Dapo Pond, also known as "Chihshang Dapi," is primarily fed by the underground flow of the Xinwulu Stream and the overflow from the artificial irrigation canals of nearby rice fields. The water from the pond flows out to the north through a drainage outlet, becoming one of the sources of the Xiuguluan River. Dapo Pond is a precious wetland home to a variety of species, with many unique plants growing in the area, often attracting special birds and animals to reside there. Every year in July and August, a large "Bamboo Raft Season" event is held, featuring bamboo raft experiences every weekend, providing a charming and enjoyable way to explore the lake. Visitors can leisurely appreciate the beautiful scenery while gliding among the lotus leaves on the bamboo rafts, evoking a sense of time travel.
