Chulu Leisure Agricultural Zone covers an area of approximately 600 hectares, accessible from Taitung City through the Hualien-Taitung Valley (National Highway 9) towards Guanshan. The primary production includes cherimoya, loquat, plum, and coffee. Along the way, attractions include Chulu Coffee, the Native Plant Application Garden, Shanzhu Organic Coffee, Nine Birds Pottery, Jiafang Tea Garden, and Quhe Winery. Within the zone, Chulu Ranch is the largest sloped ranch in Taiwan, and the Native Plant Application Garden nurtures over 300 types of herbs, making it the most abundant in the eastern region.
