Taiwan was once known as the "Banana Kingdom," and in the early days, it heavily exported bananas to Japan, where the central region's bananas held significant importance. Jiji bananas even satisfied the picky taste of the Japanese Emperor, and those marked with the character "千" on the basket were guaranteed quality Jiji bananas. The Jiji Banana Scenic Factory is divided into three main thematic areas: the outdoor banana garden ecological park, which grows more than 103 types of banana plants, including ornamental and edible varieties. In the afternoon, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the "Jiji Weir" while the sun sets behind the banana fields – it's truly lovely! The production facility is the headquarters of Jiyuan Fruits, and many delicious foods are produced here, including banana heart chocolate, banana rolls, dried bananas, and golden banana strips, among others.
