Huajia and Mabu Cliff Introduction
From the Special Species Center, take the small road along the east side of the Conservation Center, and it takes about 5 to 8 minutes by car to reach the "Hua Ji Man Ba Jue." In the spring of the 12th year of the Guangxu era, the characters "Hua Ji Man Ba" were inscribed on a giant rock, later repainted with red varnish by later generations. Besides the four large characters of the main text, it is also clearly written on the stele: "Appointed by the Governor of Taiwan and Panghu, Chen Fangbo, to explore and cultivate the indigenous land." The Hua Ji Man Ba Jue, along with the Kai Pi Hong Huang Jue, is a national historic site and serves as evidence of the reclamation activities during the Qing dynasty. Although it is located in a remote area and not easy to find, the scenic views along the way are ideal for a stroll. Visitors may also take the opportunity to head to Ming Hsin Academy for a cultural journey.
