Jiyuan Fruit Eco-Factory Introduction
Jiji Mountain Banana is a special variety of banana that was exclusively supplied to the Emperor of Japan during the Japanese colonial period and is the most representative agricultural product of Jiji. To commemorate this glorious history, the Jiyuan Fruit Tourism Factory was established in October 2016, themed around "bananas". It is a family-friendly space designed to allow visitors to get close to nature, enjoy delicious mountain banana delicacies, while also serving educational, informative, and entertaining purposes. The facilities in the park include: a parent-child DIY classroom for making painted banana seedlings, mountain banana snacks, and banana milk prints; the only mountain banana ecological park in Taiwan, featuring over 70 types of banana seedlings from around the world; a parent-child sand pit, ball pool, light food area, exhibition area, interactive projection, and local agricultural specialty souvenirs.
