Jiyuan Fruit Eco-Factory Introduction
Jiji Mountain Banana was a special type of banana, known as "Imperial Banana," exclusively enjoyed by the Emperor of Japan during the Japanese rule. It is also the most representative agricultural product of Jiji. To commemorate this glorious history, the Jiyuan Fruit Tourist Factory was established in October 2016, themed around "bananas." It is a perfect space for family visits, allowing visitors to get close to nature, enjoy delicious mountain banana delicacies, and provides educational, knowledgeable, and fun experiences. The facility includes: a DIY classroom for parents and children – where you can create painted banana seedlings, mountain banana snacks, and banana pulp prints; the only mountain banana ecological park in Taiwan – showcasing over 70 types of banana seedlings from around the world; a sandbox for parents and children, ball pit, light meal area, cultural exhibition area, interactive projection, and agricultural specialty souvenirs.
