Chiyuan Fruit Processing Factory Introduction
Jiji Mountain Banana was a special variety of banana designated for the tasting of the Emperor of Japan during the Japanese colonial period and is the most representative agricultural product of Jiji. To let this glorious history be understood, the Jiyuan Fruit Tourism Factory was established in October 2016, themed around "bananas." It is designed as a family-friendly space suitable for parent-child visits, allowing guests to get close to nature, enjoy delicious mountain banana dishes, and also serves educational, knowledge-sharing, and entertainment purposes. The park facilities include: a parent-child DIY classroom – where you can make painted banana seedlings, mountain banana snacks, and banana milk prints; the only mountain banana ecological park in Taiwan – featuring over 70 varieties of banana seedlings from around the world; a parent-child sandpit, ball pit, light snack area, exhibition area, interactive projection, and agricultural specialty souvenirs.
