Jiyuan Fruit Tourism Factory Introduction
Jiji Mountain Banana is a "royal banana" exclusively served to the Japanese Emperor during the Japanese colonial period and is the most representative agricultural product of Jiji. To promote the understanding of this glorious history, the Jiyuan Fruit Tourism Factory was established in October 2016, themed around "bananas." It offers a family-friendly space design, allowing visitors to get close to nature, enjoy delicious mountain banana delicacies, and engage in educational, knowledge-sharing, and fun activities. The park facilities include a DIY classroom for families—where participants can create painted banana seedlings, mountain banana snacks, and banana pulp prints; the only mountain banana ecological park in Taiwan, featuring over 70 varieties of banana seedlings from around the world; a family sandpit, ball pool, light meal area, cultural exhibition area, interactive projection, and agricultural specialty souvenirs.
