Hengshan Sunrise Trail Introduction
Hengshan is the highest peak in the Bagua Mountain Range and one of Taiwan's minor 100 Peaks. The trail is approximately 1.4 kilometers long and connects to County Road 139 B at both ends. You can start your hike from the opposite end of the terminus of the Changqing Bicycle Path (Qishen Trail). The entire route has a gentle slope, and there are benches and viewing points at the highest point. From this vantage point, you can enjoy a wide view and have the opportunity to see eagles soaring in the sky. The trail's highlight is the scenic farmland view over the Bagua Plateau, and there are legally operated camping areas nearby, making it an excellent location for outdoor recreational activities. Trail length: 1.36 kilometers. Walking time: 0.7 hours. Facilities: information boards, signposts, benches, viewing points, pavilions.
