Hengshan Sunrise Trail Introduction
Hengshan is the highest peak of the Bagua Mountain Range and is one of Taiwan's Minor 100 Peaks. The trail is approximately 1.4 km long and connects with County Road 139 B at both ends. It can be accessed from the end of the Changqing Bicycle Path (Qixian Step Trail) across the road. The entire trail features a gentle slope, and at the high point, there are seats and a viewing area that offer a broad view. Visitors have the chance to see eagles soaring in the sky and can enjoy a panoramic view of the Bagua Plateau's agricultural landscape, which is a distinctive feature of this trail. There are legally operated camping areas nearby, making it very suitable for outdoor recreational activities. Trail length: 1.36 kilometers. Walking time: 0.7 hours.
