Hengshan Sunrise Trail Introduction
Hengshan is the highest peak in the Bagua Mountain Range and is one of Taiwan's minor 100 peaks. The trail is approximately 1.4 kilometers long and connects with County Road 139 B at both ends. It can be accessed from the opposite end of the Qingqing Bike Path (Qixian Step Trail). The entire trail features a gentle slope, with a seating area and viewing platform at the highest point. From this vantage point, visitors can enjoy an expansive view and may even see eagles soaring in the sky. The trail offers a unique perspective on the agricultural landscape of the Bagua Plateau. There are legally operated camping areas nearby, making it a great spot for outdoor recreational activities. Trail length: 1.36 kilometers. Walking time: 0.7 hours.
