Hengshan Sunrise Trail Introduction
Hengshan is the highest peak of the Bagua Mountain Range and is one of Taiwan's Minor Ninety Peaks. The trail is approximately 1.4 kilometers long and connects to County Road 139 B at both ends. Visitors can start from the opposite end of the Changqing Bicycle Path (Qixian Step Trail). The entire trail has a gentle slope, and there is a seating area and viewpoint at the summit where hikers can enjoy a panoramic view. From the high point, there is a chance to see eagles soaring in the sky, and the unique feature of this trail includes overlooking the agricultural landscapes of the Bagua Plateau. There are also legally operated camping areas nearby, making it an excellent place for outdoor recreational activities. Trail length: 1.36 kilometers. Walking time: 0.7 hours. Facilities: information boards, signage, seating, viewing area, gazebo.
