Lion Grove Bakery Introduction

Lion Forest Pastry Shop was established by Mr. Huang Shuwang. When he was young, Boss Huang learned to make pastries, and besides pastries, he is also skilled in making bread, cakes, sesame candy, and egg rolls. The shop, originally named Lion Forest Western Style Bakery, was founded in 1981 and located in Keelung before moving to Jinshan. The owner utilizes the abundant taro and sweet potatoes from Jinshan to create "One Bite" Taro Puff and Sweet Potato Puff, which are small puffs that can be eaten in one bite, becoming a favorite souvenir for tourists. In addition, the owner improved malt sugar and combined it with small-sized sesame candy to create a "One Bite" Sesame Candy that doesn’t stick to hands or mouth, with sesame seeds that don’t fall everywhere, which became very popular after its launch. The snacks at Lion Forest are almost entirely handmade, resulting in an exceptional texture.
