Lion Grove Bakery Introduction

Lion Grove Bakery was founded by Mr. Huang Shuwang. Young Huang learned to make pastries, and aside from pastries, he is adept at making bread, cakes, traditional Taiwanese snacks like Sha Qi Ma, and egg rolls. Originally named Lion Grove Western-style Bakery, it was established in the 70th year of the Republic of China (1981) in Keelung and later moved to Jinshan. The owner utilizes the abundant taro and sweet potatoes from Jinshan to create "One Bite" Taro Pastry and Sweet Potato Pastry, which are small, bite-sized flaky pastries that have become popular souvenirs for travelers. Additionally, the owner combined improved maltose with small-sized sesame balls to create "One Bite" Sesame Balls that do not stick to hands or mouths, allowing you to enjoy them without making a mess. After its launch, they quickly became very popular. Almost all of the pastries at Lion Grove are made by hand, giving them a unique texture.
