Lion Grove Bakery Introduction

Lion Forest Pastry Shop was founded by Mr. Huang Shuwang. When he was young, Boss Huang learned to make pastries, and besides pastries, he is skilled at making bread, cakes, Sachima, and egg rolls. Lion Forest Pastry Shop was originally named Lion Forest Western Bakery and was established in 1981 in Keelung, later moving to Jinshan. The owner makes "One-Bite" Taro Puff and Sweet Potato Puff using the locally abundant taro and sweet potatoes in Jinshan, which are small pastries that can be eaten in one bite and have become popular souvenirs among tourists. Additionally, the owner improved maltose by combining it with small-sized sesame seed cakes, creating "One-Bite" Sesame Cakes that do not stick to hands or mouths, making them easy to eat without dropping sesame seeds everywhere. The pastries at Lion Forest are almost entirely handmade, resulting in an exceptional texture.
