Lion Forest Bakery Introduction
Lion Grove Bakery was founded by Mr. Huang Shuwang. In his youth, Boss Huang learned to make pastries, and he excels at various snacks, including bread, cakes, sachima, and egg rolls. The bakery was originally named Lion Grove Western Pastry Bakery and was established in 1981 in Keelung before moving to Jinshan. The owner utilizes the abundant taro and sweet potatoes produced in Jinshan to create "One Bite" Taro Pastry and Sweet Potato Pastry, which are small, bite-sized flaky pastries loved by tourists as souvenirs. Additionally, the owner has improved maltose by combining it with small-sized sesame balls, creating a "One Bite" sesame ball that doesn't stick to hands or mouth and allows you to eat it without dropping sesame seeds everywhere, which has been very popular since its launch. Almost all the snacks at Lion Grove are handmade, giving them a particularly good texture.
