Lion Forest Bakery Introduction
Lion Forest Bakery was founded by Mr. Huang Shuwang. When he was young, he learned to make pastries, and he is skilled not only in pastries but also in bread, cakes, sha qima, and egg rolls. Lion Forest Bakery was originally named Lion Forest Western-style Bread Shop and was established in 1981 in Keelung before moving to Jinshan. The owner takes advantage of the abundant taro and sweet potatoes in Jinshan to create "One-bite" Taro Pastry and Sweet Potato Pastry, which are small flaky pastries that can be eaten in one bite, making them a favorite souvenir for tourists. Furthermore, the owner improved maltose combined with small-sized sesame seed cakes to create the "One-bite" Sesame Cake, which does not stick to the hands or mouth, ensuring that the sesame seeds do not fall everywhere, and it has been very popular since its launch. Almost all of Lion Forest's snacks are made by hand, resulting in a particularly good texture.
