Lion Forest Bakery Introduction
Lion Forest Bakery was founded by Mr. Huang Shu-wang. Mr. Huang learned to make pastries when he was young, and aside from pastries, he is also skilled in making bread, cakes, shachima, egg rolls, and other snacks. Lion Forest Bakery was originally named Lion Forest Western-style Bakery, established in the 70th year of the Republic of China, initially located in Keelung before moving to Jinshan. The owner utilizes the abundant taro and sweet potatoes from Jinshan to create "One Bite" Taro Pastries and Sweet Potato Pastries, which are small, bite-sized pastries that have become popular souvenirs among tourists. In addition, the owner has improved maltose by combining it with small-sized sesame candies to create a "One Bite" Sesame Candy that doesn’t stick to the hands or mouth, allowing people to eat it in one bite without spilling any sesame seeds. Most of the snacks at Lion Forest are made almost entirely by hand, resulting in a particularly good texture.
