Initially, this small noodle stall only sold noodles for two or three years before it started selling duck meat; at first, they could only sell one duck a day, and even as more diners came, they could sell at most a dozen. It wasn't until more than a decade ago, when the government developed the Northern Coast Scenic Area, that the local tourism industry in Jinshan began to thrive, leading to a substantial increase in the business of Jinshan Duck Meat. Eventually, the business became so busy that even with the help of over forty friends and family members, they still struggled to keep up; food lovers who traveled from afar to taste the duck meat began to serve themselves, leading to the unique sight of customers wandering through the old street with plates of duck meat looking for a spot to enjoy, attracting nearly five hundred thousand food enthusiasts a year.
