Taipei Foods

Jinshan Old Street, formed along the alleys of the mountain town, was once a bustling marketplace and is now one of the popular tourist attractions in the area. When talking about Jinshan Jinbaoli Old Street, one cannot miss the famous "Jinshan Duck Meat"; this restaurant, which has been operating since 1958, has been a well-known establishment in Jinbaoli for over fifty years and is now managed by the second generation, the couple Li Guangxiong and You Meifu. The small noodle stand transitioned to selling duck meat; it initially started as a small stall selling noodles, and only after two or three years did it begin selling duck meat. At first, they could sell only one duck a day, and later, as more customers came, the maximum was just over a dozen. It wasn't until more than a decade ago, when the government developed the North Coast Scenic Area, that the local tourism industry in Jinshan began to thrive, and the business of Jinshan Duck Meat truly took off. Eventually, the business became so good that even with over forty family and friends helping out, they were still overwhelmed. Gourmet visitors coming from afar to savor the duck meat started serving themselves, carrying plates and bowls and looking for a place to eat duck meat, and over time it formed a strange sight of people wandering with plates of duck meat on the old street, attracting nearly 500,000 food lovers each year.
