Designed by the owner Mr. Chou Yong-Long, "Ding Tang Feng" features architecture that combines the Tang style with modern aesthetics, creating an atmosphere that is both quaint and artistic. The restaurant is also very particular about the hot pot itself; in addition to the broth, which is simmered using various Chinese herbs, the antique pots used are uniquely designed to not only maintain a consistent temperature but also enhance the flavors of the ingredients.
