Bao Li Xuan

Matsu Foods

Bao Li Xuan Introduction

It is said that General Qi Jiguang of the Ming Dynasty came to the south and invented a type of pastry with a hole in the middle, resembling a doughnut or bagel, so that soldiers could string them together and hang them on their chests for easy access to food. The way to eat Qi Guang Bing is quite diverse; fillings can include eggs, vegetables, and more, and it is also known as Matsu Burger. An aunt at the old shop Baoli Xuan sells Qi Guang Bing on the second floor of the market in the morning.
