Palais de Chine Hotel Introduction
According to legend, during the Ming Dynasty, General Qī Jìguāng came to the south and invented a type of bread with a hole in the middle, resembling a doughnut or a bagel, which could be strung together on a rope for soldiers to carry. The Qìguāng bǐng can be eaten in various ways, with fillings like eggs, vegetables, and is also known as the Matsu burger. An aunt at the old shop Bao Li Xuan sells Qìguāng bǐng on the second floor of the market in the morning.
