The Matsu Distillery is located at the foot of Niujiaoling at the entrance of Fuxing Village, where fine spirits brewed with sweet and clear spring water have gained fame, especially for its daqu, sorghum liquor, and aged wines, which have become representative specialties of Matsu. The distillery's entrance features a wall lined with neatly arranged wine jars, creating an imposing sight, and a couplet reading "The fragrance of opened jars travels a hundred miles; a thousand families indulge in drunkenness" warmly welcomes visitors to taste the wine inside. The entrance exhibit hall displays various fine wines, showcasing commemorative spirits produced by the Matsu Distillery throughout the years, as well as rare medicinal wines that are now discontinued. Visitors can also learn about the history of Matsu distilling through video presentations and displays of early residents' brewing tools, such as iron pots, bamboo sieves, and ancient jars.
