Matsu Distillery Introduction
The House of Fine Wine is filled with the fragrance of liquor. Matsu Distillery is located at the foot of Niujiaoling in Fuxing Village. Using pure and sweet spring water, the distillery produces renowned wines, especially famous for its Daqu, sorghum, and aged liquor, which have become signature products of Matsu. Alongside the entrance wall of the distillery, a row of neatly arranged jars creates a majestic sight. At the entrance hangs a couplet that welcomes visitors with the phrase "The aroma of opened jars spreads for a hundred miles, drunkenness washes over a thousand homes." Inside, the exhibition hall showcases various fine wines, including commemorative wines produced by Matsu Distillery over the years and rare medicinal wines that are now out of production. Visitors can also learn about the distillery's past and present through video presentations and displays of historical brewing equipment such as iron pots, bamboo strainers, and ancient jars used by early residents.
