The Matsu Distillery is located at the foot of Niuqueling in Fuxing Village, using clear spring water to brew its renowned wines, particularly famous for its Daqu, sorghum, and aged liquors, making it a representative specialty of Matsu. Rows of neatly arranged jars line the walls at the entrance of the distillery, creating a grand atmosphere. A couplet hangs at the entrance that reads, "Opening the jars releases fragrance for miles, washing the jars intoxicates a thousand homes," warmly welcoming visitors to come in and taste the wines. Inside the entrance, the exhibition hall showcases various fine wines, including commemorative wines produced by the Matsu Distillery over the years and other precious liquors like now-discontinued medicinal wine. Visitors can also learn about the history of wine production in Matsu through video presentations and displays of early brewing equipment such as iron pots, bamboo sieves, and ancient jars. A couplet hangs at the entrance that reads, "The fragrance spreads a hundred miles, and the taste intoxicates a thousand families," warmly welcoming visitors to come in and taste the wine. Inside the exhibition hall at the entrance, various fine wines are displayed, including commemorative wines produced by Matsu Distillery over the years, as well as rare medicinal wines that are now out of production.
