Matsu Distillery Introduction
The Home of Fine Wines, rich with the aroma of liquor. Matsu Distillery is located at the foot of Niujiaoling in Fuxing Village, using sweet and pure spring water to brew wines that are renowned far and wide, especially famous for its Daqu, sorghum liquor, and aged spirits, which have become representative products of Matsu. The entrance of the distillery is lined with neatly arranged wine jars, exuding grandeur, and a couplet reading "The fragrance spreads for a hundred miles, and the drinking brings joy to thousands of families" welcomes visitors to come in and taste the wines. The entrance hall features a display room showcasing various fine wines, including commemorative wines produced by Matsu Distillery throughout its history, as well as rare medicinal wines that are now out of print. Visitors can also learn about the past and present of Matsu Distillery through video presentations and exhibits of early brewing tools, such as iron pots, bamboo sieves, and ancient jars.
