Bao'an Road Rice Cake Introduction
The restaurant originated in 1961, founded by Mr. and Mrs. Hong Bing-ren, who set up a stall at the intersection of Ximen Road and Fencing Road in Tainan City (location: Lower Dadao). In 1980, due to road expansion and demolition, they moved to the current location to continue operations, which is now run by the second generation. Our rice cakes adhere to traditional methods, preserving the old-fashioned flavors, with a unique taste, aromatic meat sauce, and fresh fish flakes, also retaining the traditional wrapping method (using bamboo leaves). After steaming, the flavor is even more enhanced.
