Fuzheng Beach Introduction
As you stroll along the small paths of Fuzheng Village, you will discover a serene area located at the boundary of land and sea, gently resting amidst the ebb and flow of the tides. This is Fuzheng Beach, surrounded by the Fuzheng settlement. Fuzheng Beach features a rare sandy shoreline in Matsu, with fine, soft, and white sand, making it the perfect place for people to play in the water, wade through waves, and experience the joy of clam digging. Additionally, little is known that Fuzheng Beach is also a habitat for "Matsu flower clams." Due to its rich intertidal zone ecology, it is even nicknamed the "East Jugu Refrigerator." During the summer, when flower clams are abundant, you can easily find traces of them everywhere, and with a little digging by hand, you may find an unexpectedly bountiful harvest— a sense of accomplishment that is hard for both locals and travelers to resist!
