Fuzheng Beach Introduction
Walking slowly along the small paths in Fuzheng Village, you will discover a piece of land where the sea and land meet, quietly resting with the currents of the ocean breeze. This is Fuzheng Beach, surrounded by the Fuzheng settlement. Fuzheng Beach is a rare sandy coastal landscape in Matsu, featuring fine, soft, and white sand, making it the ideal place for people to play in the water, enjoy the waves, and experience clam digging. Additionally, what few people know is that Fuzheng Beach is also the habitat of "Matsu flower clams." Due to its rich intertidal ecosystem, it is even nicknamed the "East Jiufeng Refrigerator." During the summer, when flower clams are abundant, you can often find clams everywhere, and digging with your hands will lead to unexpectedly rich rewards, a sense of accomplishment that is hard to resist for both locals and travelers!
