Fuzheng Beach Introduction
Walking slowly along the small paths in Fuzheng Village, you will discover a serene beach located at the intersection of land and sea, surrounded by the Fuzheng settlement. Fuzheng Beach is a rare sandy coastal geological landscape in Matsu, with soft and white sand that makes it the best place for people to play in the water and enjoy clam digging. Additionally, what few people know is that Fuzheng Beach is also the habitat for "Matsu flower clams." Due to its rich intertidal ecosystem, it is even nicknamed the "East Jue Refrigerator." During the clam harvesting season in summer, traces of flower clams can be seen everywhere, and hand digging can lead to unexpectedly abundant harvests, providing a sense of accomplishment that is hard to resist for both locals and tourists!
