神祕小海灣

The Healing Mystery Coast The mysterious small bay is located at the Aokou, along the route from the Fujeng settlement to the Dapu settlement. It is a new attraction that has been named in recent years. The expansive ocean gives one a feeling of infinite openness. During the season when blue tears are prevalent, this area becomes one of the hotspots for viewing bioluminescence on Dongju Island, offering a high vantage point to admire the large patches of blue glow in the fjord. From a certain angle, the sea-eroded pillars and the sea-eroded gully in the bay spark the imagination. Local folklore tells a romantic story about Lü Dongbin and He's Xiangu achieving immortality here, hence it is also known as "Lü-He Cliff." At the lower right of the platform, there is a balancing rock, said to be the jade seal of the Jade Emperor, placed there to subdue the two immortals, Lü and He. Looking towards the ridge from the right side of the platform, it resembles a stone lion guarding the jade seal. Below the stone lion, a sharp sea-eroded pillar appears like a shark during high tide, and like a rhinoceros during low tide, closely accompanying the stone lion. Above the eastern part of the bay, there is a pit, known by locals as the "Swallow's Nest," a gathering place for birds. A television adventure program once explored and filmed inside this cave, which leads to the seaside and used to be a shortcut for oyster gatherers. It is said that in the past, when pirates roamed the Matsu Islands, this was the best hiding place for residents evading pirates. As there are remnants of shells and unexploded ordnance inside the cave, tourists are advised not to enter.

Mystic Bay Introduction

The Healing Mysterious Coast The mysterious little bay is located at the Aokou on the way from the Fujeng settlement to the Dapu settlement, and it has been designated as a new attraction in recent years. With its vast, endless sea, it offers a sense of boundless freedom. During the season when blue tears are prevalent, this area is also one of the hotspots for viewing bioluminescent blue oceans, where you can admire the large patches of blue light in the fjord from a higher vantage point. From certain angles, the coastal pillars and sea erosion grooves in the bay evoke the imagination, which is why local legends tell of the romantic story of Lü Dongbin and He Xiangu achieving immortality here. Hence, it is also known as "Lü He Cliff". At the lower right side of the platform, there is a balanced rock, said to be the jade seal of the Jade Emperor, placed here to pacify the two immortal beings, Lü He. Looking towards the right side of the platform, the mountain ridges resemble a stone lion guarding the jade seal. Below the stone lion, an eroded pillar rises sharply above sea level, resembling a shark at high tide and a rhinoceros at low tide, closely accompanying the stone lion. To the east of the bay, there is a pit referred to by locals as the "Swallow's Nest," which is a gathering place for birds. A television adventure show once explored and filmed inside this cavern, which can lead to the seaside. In the past, it was a shortcut for oyster gatherers. Legend has it that during the era of rampant piracy around the Matsu Islands, this location served as the best hiding spot for islanders escaping from pirates. As remnants of shell casings and unexploded ordnance remain inside the pit, visitors are advised not to venture inside.
