Zhongliu Islet Introduction
Chung-Liou Islet, located off the northern coast of Dongju, is a small rocky island that rises abruptly from the sea, also known as Yong-Liu Islet. Local fishermen often refer to it as Yu-Ao. The island is devoid of trees but is rich in shellfish resources. During low tide, the pebble beach is exposed, connecting Fuzheng Beach and the nearby Chung-Liou Islet. At this time, villagers often gather in groups along the pebble shore to collect the blessings from nature, picking shellfish and seaweed, and enjoying the pleasure of a bountiful harvest, ensuring a fulfilling trip.
