Zhongliu Islet Introduction
In the northeastern coast of Dongju, Zhongliou is a small reef island that rises from the sea, located northwest of the Fuzheng settlement. It is also known as Yongliu Island, and local fishermen refer to it as Yiu Ao. The island does not have trees, but it is rich in shellfish resources. During low tide, the pebble beach becomes exposed, connecting Fuzheng Beach with the nearby Zhongliou Island. At this time, villagers often gather in small groups along the pebble beach to pick up nature's bounties, collecting shellfish and seaweed, enjoying the pleasure of the harvest and ensuring a worthwhile trip.
