Middle Stream Islet Introduction
Chung-Liu Islet, a small rocky island off the northern coast of Dongju, is located northwest of the Fuzheng settlement and is also known as Yong-Liu Islet. Local fishermen refer to it as Yu-Ao. The island does not have any trees, but it is rich in shellfish resources. During low tide, the gravel beach is exposed, connecting Fuzheng Beach and the nearby Chung-Liu Islet. At this time, villagers often gather in groups along the rocky shore to collect the bounties of nature, gathering shellfish and seaweed, enjoying the pleasures of a fruitful harvest. It is highly recommended to keep an eye on the tidal changes and ensure safety while visiting the area.
