Fo Guang University Campus Introduction
Fo Guang University, located on Linmei Mountain, was founded by Master Hsing Yun of Fo Guang Shan to realize the ideal of cultivating talent through education. With the philosophy of “keeping wisdom for oneself and leaving the university for humanity,” he initiated the global “Million People Education Committee,” bringing together the hearts of millions worldwide and connecting countless benevolent relationships. The university covers an area of approximately 560,000 hectares, offering a direct view of the Lanyang Plain and Guishan Island. The external road on the east side leads to the Cixin Bridge and Deyou Avenue. The campus features a high elevation on the western side and a lower elevation on the eastern side, with a height difference of about 315 meters.
