Happy Transfer Station Introduction
Happiness Transfer Station is located near Yilan Railway Station, about a 5-minute walk away. Nearby attractions include the Jimmy Park and the Steel Tree Forest of Diu Diu Dang. It was previously an idle space of Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport, which was later transformed into the Happiness Transfer Station. The entire park is themed around Jimmy's "Forget to Kiss" and features painted abandoned buses and old walls, becoming new installation art. The Happiness Transfer Station is not only a popular photo spot in Yilan but also a multifunctional service hub that cares for disadvantaged groups and people with disabilities. Within the park, visitors can see creations by individuals with disabilities, sales of small-scale agricultural products, as well as themed exhibitions and experiential activities, allowing tourists to gain a deeper understanding and concern for these special children. The landscaping in the park features animal themes, such as giraffes and the Happiness Elephant, combined with playground equipment, making the installation art not only appreciable but also enjoyable for both kids and adults. During their visit, guests can learn about the stories behind the Happiness Transfer Station while taking photos and having fun.
