Happiness Transfer Station Introduction
Happy Transfer Station is located near Yilan Railway Station, about a 5-minute walk away. Nearby attractions include the Jimmy Park and the Steel Tree “Diu Diu Dong” Forest. It used to be an idle space for Guoguang Bus, which was later transformed into the Happy Transfer Station. The entire area is themed around Jimmy's work "Forget to Kiss," featuring painted abandoned buses and old walls that have become new installation art. The Happy Transfer Station is not only a popular photo spot in Yilan but also a multifunctional service center that cares for disadvantaged groups and people with disabilities. In the park, visitors can see the creations of people with disabilities, purchase products from small-scale farmers, and participate in themed exhibitions and experiential activities, allowing tourists to gain a deeper understanding and concern for these special children. The landscaping within the park features animals like giraffes and the "Happiness Elephant" as themes, combined with playground equipment, enabling visitors of all ages to enjoy and play, while also learning about the stories behind the Happy Transfer Station.
