Happiness Transfer Station Introduction
The Happiness Transfer Station is located near Yilan Train Station, approximately a 5-minute walk away. Nearby attractions include the Jimmy Park and the Steel Tree "Diu Diu Dang" Forest. It was formerly an idle space of the Kuo-Kuang Bus Company, which was later transformed into the Happiness Transfer Station. The entire park uses the theme from Jimmy's "Forget to Kiss" and features painted abandoned buses and old walls, turning them into new installation art. The Happiness Transfer Station is not only a popular photo spot in Yilan but also a multifunctional service hub that cares for disadvantaged groups and people with disabilities. Visitors can see the creations of people with disabilities, the sales of small farmers' produce, as well as themed exhibitions and experiential activities, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding and care for these special children. The park's landscaping features animals like giraffes and the station master, a happy elephant, combined with play equipment, allowing visitors of all ages to enjoy and learn about the story behind the Happiness Transfer Station while taking photos and playing.
