Happiness Transfer Station Introduction
Happiness Transfer Station is located near Yilan Train Station, about a 5-minute walk away. Nearby attractions include the Jimmy Park and the steel tree installation known as Diu Diu Dang Forest. Previously an idle space of Kuang-Hsin Bus Company, it has been transformed into the Happiness Transfer Station. The entire park is themed around Jimmy's work "Forget to Kiss" and features colorful paintings of abandoned buses and old walls, creating new installations of art. Happiness Transfer Station is not only a popular photo spot in Yilan but also a multifunctional service station that cares for disadvantaged groups and individuals with disabilities. Within the park, visitors can see creations by people with disabilities, the sale of small farm products, as well as themed exhibitions and experiential activities, allowing tourists to gain a deeper understanding and concern for this special group of children. The landscaping of the park features animals like giraffes and the stationmaster elephant, combined with play equipment, enabling both children and adults to enjoy themselves while learning about the stories behind the Happiness Transfer Station during their visit.
