Happiness Transfer Station Introduction
The Happiness Transfer Station is located near Yilan Railway Station, about a 5-minute walk away. Nearby attractions include the Jimmy Park and the steel-tree-themed Diodon Forest. Previously, it was an idle space belonging to Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport, which was later transformed into the Happiness Transfer Station. The entire park is themed around Jimmy's "Forget to Kiss You," featuring painted abandoned buses and old walls that have been turned into new installation art. The Happiness Transfer Station is not only a popular photo spot in Yilan but also a multifunctional service center that cares for disadvantaged groups and people with disabilities. Inside the park, visitors can see the creations of people with disabilities, the sale of local agricultural products, as well as themed exhibitions and experiential activities, allowing tourists to gain a deeper understanding and care for these special children. The landscaping in the park features animals like giraffes and the happy elephant station master, combined with playground equipment, making the installation art enjoyable for both children and adults. While taking photos and playing, visitors can also learn about the stories behind the Happiness Transfer Station.
