Doraemon Scientific Theme Park Introduction
The Little Ding-Dong Science Theme Park, operated by Little Ding-Dong Science Co., Ltd. since January 1990, was initially named Hsinsheng Land Recreation Co., Ltd. At that time, it was funded by several shareholders enthusiastic about science education and was established in Songbailing, Shang keng Village, Xinfeng Township, to create an outdoor amusement park themed on science education, complementing the Hsinchu Science Park, hoping to contribute to the foundation work of science education in Taiwan. The park was originally named Xinfeng Recreation Grand Garden and was later renamed Little Ding-Dong Science Park to give it a more appealing name, which has been used ever since. The Little Ding-Dong Science Theme Park has consistently adhered to the design direction of science themes, providing the public with another form of educational leisure enjoyment and becoming the only outdoor laboratory for natural science education in the country. Due to its commitment to these principles and its dedication to serving the public, the company has been awarded the "Excellence" rating by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications for 19 consecutive years; this is believed to be the greatest encouragement for the company.
