Doraemon Science Theme Park Introduction
The Little Ding-Dong Science Park, which began operations in January 1990, was initially established under the name Hsinsheng Recreational Co., Ltd. It was funded by several enthusiastic shareholders dedicated to science education, who built an outdoor amusement park in Songbailing, Shangeng Village, Xinfeng Township, aiming to complement the Hsinchu Science Park and contribute to the groundwork of science education in Taiwan. The park was originally named the Hsinfeng Recreational Garden but was later renamed the Little Ding-Dong Science Park to create a more prominent brand, a name that has been used ever since. The Little Ding-Dong Science Theme Park has consistently maintained a science theme in its design, providing the public with an enjoyable vacation experience centered on knowledge and serving as the only outdoor experimental classroom for national education in natural sciences. Due to its adherence to these principles and commitment to public service, the park has been awarded the "Excellent" rating by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications for 19 consecutive years, which is regarded as the greatest encouragement for the company.
