Ding Dong Science Theme Park Introduction
Xiao Ding Dong Science Park, which began operations in January 1990, was initially named Xinsheng Leisure Co., Ltd. At that time, it was funded by several enthusiastic shareholders in science education, constructing an outdoor amusement park themed on science education in Songbailing, Xiangxing Village, Xinfeng Township, which complements the Hsinchu Science Park. The aim was to contribute to the foundational work of science education in Taiwan. The park was originally named Xinfeng Leisure Garden but was later renamed to Xiao Ding Dong Science Park to make its name more prominent, a title it has held ever since. Xiao Ding Dong Science Park has consistently adhered to a science-themed design direction, providing a unique vacation experience for the public and becoming the only outdoor experimental classroom for national education in natural sciences. The company has been recognized for its dedication to these principles and its commitment to serving the public. It has received the "Outstanding" rating from the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications for 19 consecutive years, which is considered the greatest encouragement for the company.
