Tiande Hall Introduction
Tiande Temple was built through the investment of local military, government officials, and wealthy merchants, and is the largest temple of Tiandeism in Taiwan, dedicated to the worship of the formless ancient Buddha. Tiandeism adheres to a belief in a "Tao" rather than idol figures. The temple is located on the west side of Songbailing. After renovations, the square provides space for kite flying and playing, while the ancient path downhill is a popular spot for local residents to exercise in the morning and take walks in the evening. The square in front of the temple offers a view of Nanyao Fishing Harbor and the wind farm, making it an excellent vantage point highly recommended by locals.
