Tiande Temple Introduction
Tiande Temple, built with investment from local military, government, and wealthy figures, is the largest temple of Tiandeism in Taiwan, housing the invisible ancient Buddha. Tiandeism believes in a notion of "Tao," rather than idol worship. Located on the western side of Songbaling, after renovations, the temple square is suitable for kite flying and play. The ancient path downhill is a popular spot for local residents to exercise in the morning and take walks in the evening. The square in front of the temple offers a view of Nanfang'ao Fishing Port and the wind power plant, making it a well-known viewpoint among the public.
