Tiande Hall Introduction
Tiande Temple was built through the collaboration of local military and political figures as well as wealthy merchants. It is the largest temple of Tiande religion in Taiwan, dedicated to the worship of the formless ancient Buddha. The Tiande religion upholds a belief in a "Dao" rather than idol worship. Tiande Temple is located on the western side of Songbailing. After renovations, the temple's plaza is suitable for kite flying and recreation, while the ancient path downhill serves as a great spot for local residents to exercise in the morning and take walks in the evening. The plaza in front of the temple offers a view of Nanjiao Fishing Port and a wind power plant, making it a well-known scenic spot among the public.
