Pingtung: Fresh Seafood Culture Museum Introduction
The first ocean food culture museum themed on Cod Floss showcases the evolution of seafood processing over the past forty years. Located adjacent to the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area, this museum serves as a venue for tourism, leisure, education, and culture. Zhengyi Foods Ocean Fresh Culture Museum is Taiwan's first Cod Floss ocean leisure food culture museum, originally established as the Dongfa Seafood Processing Factory, which primarily operated as an OEM for various manufacturers. The company is certified by international standards such as ISO 22000, HACCP, and HALAL. As it transformed and developed its own brand "Fresh Delicacy Path," Zhengyi Foods actively participated in international food exhibitions, successfully expanding sales to more than a dozen countries including the United States, South Korea, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, gaining recognition and trust from various sectors. The disaster brought by Typhoon Morakot in 2009, known as the 88 Flood, completely submerged Zhengyi Foods' forty years of efforts. In the face of despair, support and encouragement from various sectors gave Zhengyi Foods the courage to rise again and continue to grow. After being tempered by the 88 Flood, we have stood up again and actively transformed. In December 2011, the completion of the tourist factory aimed to share over forty years of processing experience, production processes, and management philosophy with the public. Zhengyi Foods is located just 800 meters from Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area in Pingtung County, and we hope that the tourist factory will help consumers better understand our products, thereby achieving brand building, promoting local industry, and becoming a place suitable for tourism, leisure, education, and culture.
