Qifeng Wetland Introduction
Qifeng Wetland is located southeast of Dapeng Bay, adjacent to the Qifeng Community, covering an area of approximately 9.5 hectares. The inlet on the north side of the park receives water from the left bank of Linbian River's wetland, which then flows into Dapeng Bay. Qifeng Wetland is designed as an ecological flood detention pond, combined with an artificial wetland treatment system. During the rainy season, it can function as a flood detention area, while in the non-rainy season, it can treat the domestic sewage and aquaculture wastewater discharged from the Qifeng Community. The wetland is home to various bird species, including Great Egret, Intermediate Egret, Cattle Egret, Kentish Plover, Curlew Sandpiper, Black-winged Stilt, and Little Egret.
