Pomelo Garden Eco Farm Introduction
The Pomelo Garden Ecological Farm is an environmental education base planned by the Cangsheng Environmental Planning Team. The name "Pomelo Garden" comes from the wide planting of pomelos and is a homophone for "again fate" and "again round," symbolizing the completeness of time and space. Originally a chicken farm, it was taken over by the second generation, who planted large white pomelos and betel nuts. Currently, the third generation, along with a group of young people returning to their hometown, has taken over the management, transforming traditional agriculture into a leisure industry. They have retained some pomelo trees, planted diverse flora, and created a biological habitat, embodying not only the heritage of three generations but also a microcosm of Taiwan's agricultural development. The park frequently hosts various experiential activities, allowing children to explore and engage hands-on to learn about and understand nature, and in turn, learn to protect the ecosystem.
