Pomelo Garden Ecological Farm Introduction
The Pomelo Garden Ecological Farm is an environmental education base planned by the Cangsheng Environmental Planning Team. The name "Pomelo Garden" originates from the extensive planting of pomelos and sounds similar to "again fate" and "again round," symbolizing the completeness of time and space. Originally a chicken farm, it was taken over by the second generation who planted large pomelos and betel nuts. Currently, the third generation and a group of young people returning to their hometown are managing the farm, transforming traditional agriculture into a leisure industry. They retain some pomelo trees and cultivate diverse plants to create a biological habitat. This farm not only embodies the legacy of three generations but also reflects the development of agriculture in Taiwan. The area frequently hosts various experiential activities, allowing children to explore and engage hands-on with nature, understand it, and learn to protect the ecosystem.
