Pomelo Garden Eco-Farm Introduction
The Pomelo Garden Ecological Farm is an environmental education base planned by the Cangsheng Environmental Planning Team. The name "Pomelo Garden" comes from the extensive planting of white pomelos and is a homophone for "again" and "circle," symbolizing the completeness of time and space. Originally a chicken farm, it was taken over by the second generation of descendants who planted large white pomelos and betel nuts. Currently, it is managed by the third generation along with a group of young people returning to their hometown, transforming traditional agriculture into a leisure industry. They retain some pomelos while cultivating diverse plants to create biological habitats. The farm represents the emotional legacy of three generations and is a microcosm of agricultural development in Taiwan. The park frequently hosts various experiential activities, allowing children to explore and engage hands-on with nature, understand it, and learn to protect the ecosystem.
