Pomelo Garden Ecological Farm Introduction
The Pomelo Garden Ecological Farm is an environmental education base planned by the Cangsheng Environmental Planning Team. The name "Pomelo Garden" originates from the widespread planting of white pomelos, which sounds similar to "again fate" and "again round," symbolizing the completeness of time and space. Originally a chicken farm, it was taken over by the second generation, who cultivated large white pomelos and betel nuts. Currently, the third generation, along with a group of young people who returned home, is managing the farm, transforming traditional agriculture into a leisure industry. They retain some pomelo trees and cultivate a variety of plants, creating a habitat for wildlife. The farm not only embodies the legacy of three generations but also reflects the development of agriculture in Taiwan. Various experience activities are frequently held in the park, allowing children to explore and engage hands-on, fostering an understanding of and respect for nature, and learning to protect the ecosystem.
