Pomelo Garden Ecological Farm Introduction
The Pomelo Garden Ecological Farm is an environmental education base planned by the Cangsheng Environmental Planning Team. The name "Pomelo Garden" originates from the wide planting of pomelo trees and is a homophone for "again connected" and "again round," symbolizing the completeness of time and space. Originally a chicken farm, it was later taken over by the second generation to plant large pomelos and betel nuts. Currently, the third generation and a group of young returnees are managing the farm, transforming traditional agriculture into the leisure industry. They retain some pomelo trees while planting a variety of flora to create biological habitats. This reflects the heritage of three generations and serves as a microcosm of Taiwan's agricultural development. The park often hosts various experiential activities, allowing children to learn about nature through exploration and hands-on experiences, thereby gaining an understanding and learning to protect the ecosystem.
