Ching Chiu Coastal Recreation Area Introduction

Ching-chou Coastal Recreation Area faces the Taiwan Strait, encompassing a vast expanse of beautiful ocean scenery. Accompanied by gentle sea waters, it focuses on water-based leisure, offering a variety of land and water recreational facilities, including viewing boardwalks, rest pavilions, children's play areas, camping zones, and beach recreation areas. It serves as the best spot for enjoying the waves and scenery within the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area. The visitor center located at the entrance is the most distinctive building in the Ching-chou Coastal Recreation Area, resembling a bird ready to take flight, immediately lifting one's spirits upon entry. Once inside, it feels like strolling through a park, with clusters of tree shadows, fresh greenery, and birds chirping, making one forget whether they are in the mountains or by the sea. This park features a fountain, children's playground, and a wading pool for kids, providing a space for them to play. Ching-chou Coastal Recreation Area boasts a wooden boardwalk with an excellent view, situated right at the front row for sea viewing. The winding design of the boardwalk mimics the image of waves, enhancing its overall aesthetic. It also includes resting seats and shade structures, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the sea and wind without the discomfort of excessive sweat, as the sound of the waves is truly soothing. The wide clean beach in front invites one to run towards it, with some already having arrived and enjoying themselves. Some group members are playing beach volleyball, a skill that demands more finesse than playing on a concrete surface, especially under the glaring sun, where one must also endure the heat. Others have begun taking travel photos, standing, sitting, and even jumping for shots, and thankfully the sand at Ching-chou is soft and comfortable to walk on. There are also people flying kites on the beach, as kites need wind to rise, and the sea breeze at Ching-chou is the best helper. Known as the "Hawaiian beach," Ching-chou Coastal Recreation Area features azure seas, clean beaches, and excellent recreational facilities, making it the perfect choice for water play, sand activities, or simply enjoying the scenery and unwinding.
