Qingzhou Coastal Recreation Area Introduction
Ching Chou Coastal Recreation Area faces the Taiwan Strait, embracing a vast expanse of blue ocean scenery. Accompanied by gentle waters, it focuses on water recreation, offering a rich variety of land and water recreational facilities, including scenic wooden boardwalks, resting pavilions, children's play areas, camping zones, and beach recreation areas. It is the best spot for enjoying the waves and scenery within Kenting National Park. The visitor center located at the entrance is the most distinctive building in Ching Chou Coastal Recreation Area, resembling a bird about to take flight, which uplift spirits at first sight upon entering the park. Once inside, it feels like wandering in a park with clusters of trees, fresh greenery, and the chirping of birds, making one temporarily forget whether they are in the mountains or by the sea. This park features a fountain pool, children's play area, and children's wading pool, providing a space for kids to play. Ching Chou Coastal Recreation Area has a wooden boardwalk with excellent views, located right in the front row for ocean viewing. The winding path of the boardwalk resembles the imagery of waves, adding beauty to its overall design; it also offers resting seats and sunshade canopies, allowing visitors to enjoy the essence of the sea and wind without the discomfort of sweat, as the sound of the waves is truly refreshing. The vast stretch of clean beach is inviting, with some already having a great time there. Some teams are playing beach volleyball, which requires greater skill compared to playing on concrete, especially under the hot sun, as one must endure sun exposure; others are taking travel photographs, trying various poses such as standing, sitting, and even jumping. Thankfully, the sand in Ching Chou is soft and comfortable to walk on; some are flying kites on the beach, with the wind being essential for kites to soar, and Ching Chou’s sea breeze is the best helper for this. Known as the "Hawaiian Beach," Ching Chou Coastal Recreation Area has vibrant oceans, clean beaches, and well-equipped recreational facilities, making it an absolute choice for water play, sand activities, or enjoying the scenery and relaxing.
