Sande Men Cultural Center Introduction
The Sandimen Cultural Hall, located within Sandimen Park in Sandimen Township, was established by the Sandimen Township Office. The site of the cultural hall is a former shrine from the Japanese colonial period. It is currently operated by the Dimaer Cultural Industry Art Association and serves as a window for showcasing Sandimen's artistic crafts. The hall includes a "Cultural Relics Exhibition Area," "Viewing Room," "Lounge," and "Observation Deck," as well as a community kitchen featuring a giant eagle sculpture, gathering local artistic creations and industries while fully displaying the characteristics of Paiwan culture. In addition to the rich exhibitions, on the left side of the plaza, there are giant elevated ceramic jars and indigenous totems, while the right side features a lawn that serves as the observation deck, where the indigenous-style architecture is nestled among green trees. From the second floor of the observation deck, one can enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and streams.
