Beauty Cave Scenic Area Introduction
"Meiren Cave"? Could it be that the beauty resides in a cave? Of course, the presence of the beauty has turned into a legend. Long ago during the Ming Dynasty, there was a woman of exceptional beauty and talent who, after encountering a shipwreck, drifted to this place and spent many years alone until her old age. The story adds a fascinating touch to the scenic area, whether true or not is no longer important; what matters is that the scenery of Meiren Cave remains breathtakingly beautiful. The Meiren Cave Scenic Area is located at the northeast corner of Xiaoliuqiu, divided into two parts by the island-hopping road. Walking up the stone steps, you will find coral reef rock hills; descending the stone steps leads you to the coral reef coastline area. The scenic area has thirteen planned attractions, including winding paths, Tianwaitian, Lover's Flat, Xianrendong, Xianren Spring, Wanghaiting, Meiren Cave, Yiran Garden, Charming Array, Yixiantian, Rongyan Valley, Ningjing Valley, and Bat Cave. Along the winding pedestrian paths, you will encounter naturally formed rocky cliffs and strange caves, where small animals can occasionally be seen bustling among the grasses and treetops. Moving toward the coastal path, the vast sky and ocean come into view, presenting a stunning panorama before your eyes. Wanghaiting, positioned high beside the cliff coastline, truly lives up to its name as it overlooks the sea, gazing at the shimmering waves, the blue sky, and the fish farming cages spread across the ocean. This unique scenery can only be appreciated from this spot. The coastal area of the Meiren Cave Scenic Area not only has clean water but also experiences the Kuroshio Current of the Pacific Ocean, creating a highly suitable environment for fish survival. As a result, fish farming has developed, with many cages of various sizes placed about two hundred meters from the shore, enclosing fish such as groupers, black sea bream, and red snapper. This not only increases the fishing harvest for the local residents of Liuqiu but also makes it a distinctive tourist destination.
