Beauty Cave Scenic Area Introduction
"Beautiful Woman Cave"? Could it be that a beauty lived in the cave? Of course, the presence of the beauty has long since become a legend. In ancient Ming Dynasty, there was a woman of outstanding beauty and talent who encountered a shipwreck and drifted to this place, spending her long years alone until she passed away. The story adds a touch of intrigue to the scenic area, whether true or false, it no longer matters, as the scenery of Beautiful Woman Cave remains breathtakingly beautiful. The Beautiful Woman Cave Scenic Area is located at the northeastern tip of Xiaoliuqiu, divided into two parts by the island road. Climbing up the stone steps leads to coral reef slopes, while descending the steps brings you to the coral rocky coastline area. The scenic area is planned with thirteen points of interest, including winding paths, Tianwaitian, Lover's Flat, Immortal Cave, Immortal Spring, Viewing Pavilion, Beautiful Woman Cave, Leisure Garden, Charming Array, Narrow Sky, Banyan Rock Valley, Tranquil Valley, and Bat Cave. Along the winding pedestrian path, one can see naturally formed rocky cliffs, peculiar caves, and occasionally spot small animals bustling among the grass and tree branches. As one walks further towards the coastal path, the vast sky and ocean provide stunning views that immediately catch the eye. The Viewing Pavilion, perched on the cliffside, offers a genuine sea view, gazing at the shimmering waves, the blue skies, and the aquaculture boxes set in the sea - a unique sight that can only be appreciated from this vantage point. The coastal area of the Beautiful Woman Cave Scenic Area not only boasts clean water but also is crossed by the Kuroshio Current of the Pacific Ocean, creating an ideal environment for fish. Consequently, cage aquaculture has developed, with many cages of various sizes placed about two hundred meters off the coast, trapping species like grouper, black seabream, and red snapper. This not only increases the fishing yield for the residents of Liuqiu but also becomes a distinctive tourism attraction.
