Crying Lake Natural Ecology Park Introduction

Dongyuan Village in Mudan Township, Pingtung County, is renowned for its rich wetland ecology. The village's water grasslands and Dongyuan Lake have been designated as national important wetlands. The "Crying Lake Nature Ecological Park," managed by Pastor Dong Shi and his wife from the village, is situated in this uniquely advantageous ecological classroom. The humorous Pastor Dong often takes on the role of a guide, using his life experiences and ecological research to lead visitors in exploring the rich ecology of Dongyuan Lake and sharing the principles of coexisting with nature. The park also features accommodations and local cuisine to provide visitors with not only an insight into ecology but also the opportunity to taste authentic indigenous dishes.
