Crying Lake Natural Ecological Park Introduction

Dongyuan Village in Mudan Township, Pingtung County, is renowned for its rich wetland ecology. The water meadows and Dongyuan Lake within the village have been designated as nationally important wetlands. The "Crying Lakeside Nature Ecology Park," managed by Pastor Dong Shi and his wife from the village, is located in this uniquely ecological classroom. Pastor Dong, with his humorous style, often takes on the role of a guide, sharing his life experiences and research on ecology to lead visitors in exploring the rich ecosystem of Dongyuan Lake and sharing lessons on coexisting with nature. The park also features accommodations and offers local cuisine, allowing tourists who visit to satisfy their curiosity about ecology while enjoying authentic indigenous dishes.
