Mu Dan Park Introduction
Located in Mudan Village, Mudan Township, Mudan Park is a great place for a spring outing and also serves as the entrance to the hiking trail of Mudan Mountain. This small and charming park lies on flat woodland next to Mudan Village, where visitors can enjoy the gentle mist descending from Mudan Mountain during summer afternoons. The elegant pavilion and exquisite steps complement the once-barren mountain landscape, while the sounds of birds and insects, along with the gentle breeze, provide a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the leisure of a half-day escape. As you slowly ascend Mudan Mountain, the view from the summit is vast, with the Pacific Ocean to the east, Dongyuan Tribe to the north, and Xiaomudan Village at the foot, all vividly captured in sight, making the beauty so breathtaking that it makes one forget the fatigue of climbing. The trail from the hiking entrance to the triangle point of Mudan Mountain is approximately 3.7 kilometers long, with gentle undulations and good trail conditions. The path passes through acacia reforestation areas and native broadleaf forests. Wandering through the forest, Mudan Mountain, rich in biodiversity, serves as an ideal outdoor ecological classroom.
