Peony Park Introduction
Located in Mudan Village, Mudan Township, Mudan Park is a great place for a stroll in nature and serves as the entrance to the hiking trail of Mudan Mountain. This small yet charming park is situated on a flat forested area next to Mudan Village, where visitors can enjoy the gently descending mist from Mudan Mountain during summer afternoons. The elegant pavilion and exquisite steps complement the once withered forest landscape, while the sounds of birds and insects, along with the gentle breeze, create a perfect spot to take a break and indulge in a leisurely moment. As you slowly ascend Mudan Mountain, the expansive view awaits at the summit, allowing you to clearly see the Pacific Ocean to the east, Dongyuan Tribe to the north, and Xiaomudan Village at the mountain's foot, capturing the picturesque scenery of Mudan Valley and making the effort of climbing worthwhile. The trail from the trailhead to the triangulation point of Mudan Mountain is approximately 3.7 kilometers long, with gentle elevation changes and good path conditions, passing through areas of Acacia reforestation and native broadleaf forests. Wandering through the mountain forest, Mudan Mountain, rich in flora and fauna, serves as an ideal outdoor ecological classroom.
