Mudan Park Introduction
Mudan Park, located in Mudan Village, Mudan Township, is a great place for a leisurely stroll and a breath of fresh air, as well as the starting point for the hiking trail to Mudan Mountain. This small yet charming park sits on flat woodlands beside Mudan Village, where visitors can enjoy the drifting clouds cascading down from Mudan Mountain during summer afternoons. The elegant pavilion and exquisite steps complement the previously barren mountain landscape, while the sounds of birds and insects, along with a gentle breeze, create a tranquil atmosphere perfect for a peaceful break. As you slowly ascend Mudan Mountain, the panoramic view from the summit reveals the vast ocean to the east, the Dongyuan Tribe to the north, and the Lower Mudan Village at the foot of the mountain, showcasing the stunning scenery of the Mudan Valley that makes you forget the fatigue of climbing. The trail from the trailhead to the Mudan Mountain triangulation point is approximately 3.7 kilometers long, with gentle undulations and good conditions. Along the way, you will pass through Acacia plantation areas and native broadleaf forests. Wandering amidst the diverse flora and fauna of Mudan Mountain, it is indeed a prime outdoor ecological classroom.
