Mudan Park Introduction
Situated in Mudan Village, Mudan Park is a great place for a stroll and relaxation, and it serves as the entrance to the hiking trail of Mudan Mountain. This small yet charming park is located on flat forest land next to Mudan Village. Every summer afternoon, visitors can enjoy the gentle clouds and mist descending from Mudan Mountain. The elegant gazebo and exquisite steps complement the previously dried-out mountain scenery, with the sounds of birds and insects and a slight breeze providing a perfect spot to take a break, capturing the leisurely feeling of stealing half a day from life's hustle and bustle. As you ascend Mudan Mountain at a leisurely pace, the view from the summit is spectacular; on the eastern side, you can see the Pacific Ocean, the Dongyuan tribe to the north, and the lower Mudan Village at the foot of the mountain, all beautifully encompassing the mountain and water scenery of the Mudan Valley, making you forget the fatigue of climbing. The trail from the entrance to the summit of Mudan Mountain is approximately 3.7 kilometers long, with gentle elevation changes and good trail conditions, passing through acacia tree plantations and native broadleaf forests. Wandering through the rich flora and fauna of Mudan Mountain, it serves as an excellent outdoor ecological classroom.
