Little Yellow Mountain Introduction

Xiaohuangshan is located downstream of Beinan River, near Liji Bridge, and faces the Liji Badlands across the Beinan River. Xiaohuangshan is part of the Beinan Gravel Layer, which is the terminal section of the Central Mountain Range and belongs to the Eurasian Plate. After being eroded by rainfall, it presents a landscape of peculiar rock formations, with exposed yellow soil and towering peaks, resembling a smaller version of Huangshan. Although it does not possess the grandeur of China's Huangshan, it still has its own charm, showcasing an elegant beauty in serene surroundings. Nearby, there is a park known as Xiaohuangshan Park, featuring simple stone-paved trails that circle around it. From a distance, one can gaze upon Xiaohuangshan, occasionally witnessing rising dust, which evokes a poignant beauty. It is one of the unique attractions in Taitung with a tropical flair.

Address：Binan Riverbank, Mingfeng Village, North Side of Liji Bridge, Beinan Township, Taitung County 954, Taiwan

Transportation Methods：By Train: Take the Taiwan Railways and get off at Taitung Station. You can choose: 1. After exiting the station, turn left onto Yanwan Road Section 101, then turn left onto Xing'an Road, continue straight to connect with Yanwan Road and proceed along the riverbed road; Puyuma Mountain will be on your left. 2. After exiting the station, take the Hsing Tung Bus 8117 to the Liji Badlands Station, then walk toward Liji Bridge. After passing under the bridge, walk along the embankment road to reach the Xiaohuangshan Viewing Platform. By Bus: Take the Hsing Tung Bus 8117 to the Liji Badlands Station, then walk toward Liji Bridge. After passing under the bridge, walk along the embankment road to reach the Xiaohuangshan Viewing Platform.

Remarks：The riverbed may experience sand and other conditions depending on the season, so please prepare in advance before visiting.
