Little Huangshan Introduction
Xiaohuang Mountain is located downstream of the Beinan River in Taitung County, near the Liji Bridge, opposite the Liji Badlands across the Beinan River. Xiaohuang Mountain is part of the Beinan conglomerate layer at the end of the Central Mountain Range, belonging to the Eurasian Plate. After being washed by rain, it presents a scene of strangely shaped rocks, with exposed yellow earth and rugged peaks, resembling a miniature Huangshan. Though it lacks the magnificent grandeur of China's Huangshan, it still possesses a unique charm, showcasing elegance and beauty in its tranquility. Nearby is Xiaohuang Mountain Park, which features simple stone pathways that wind around the area. Looking toward Xiaohuang Mountain across the way, one occasionally sees dust swirling, bringing forth a sudden sense of desolate beauty. It is one of the unique attractions of Taitung, exhibiting the beauty of tropical charm.
