Little Yellow Mountain Introduction
Xiaohuang Mountain is located downstream of the Beinan River near Liji Bridge, directly across from the Liji Badlands. Xiaohuang Mountain is part of the Beinan conglomerate formation at the end of the Central Mountain Range and belongs to the Eurasian tectonic plate. After being eroded by rainwater, it presents a spectacular sight of oddly shaped rocks, with bare yellow earth and jagged peaks, reminiscent of Huangshan Mountain. Although it does not possess the grandeur of China's Huangshan, it still has its own charm, revealing elegance and beauty amidst tranquility. Nearby, there is Xiaohuang Mountain Park, which features a simple path made of stones surrounding the area. From a distance, one can view Xiaohuang Mountain, where occasional gusts of sand rise and an austere beauty suddenly emerges, making it one of the unique attractions in Taitung with tropical charm.
