Little Yellow Mountain Introduction
Xiaohuang Mountain is located downstream of Beinan River near Liji Bridge, facing the Liji badlands across the Beinan River. Xiaohuang Mountain is part of the Beinan gravel layer at the end of the Central Mountain Range, belonging to the Eurasian Plate. After being eroded by rain, it presents a scene of peculiar rock formations, with bare yellow earth and towering peaks, resembling a smaller version of Huangshan. Although it lacks the majestic grandeur of China's Huangshan, it still possesses its own charm, displaying elegance and refinement in its tranquility. Nearby, there is a Xiaohuang Mountain Park, which features simple stone paths that encircle the area. From a distance, you can view Xiaohuang Mountain, where occasional dust clouds rise, creating a striking sense of desolation and beauty. This is one of the unique attractions in the Taitung region with tropical charm.
