Little Yellow Mountain Introduction
Xiao Huang Mountain is located downstream of the Beinan River, near Liji Bridge, opposite the Liji Badlands across the Beinan River. Xiao Huang Mountain is part of the Beinan conglomerate at the end of the Central Mountain Range and is part of the Eurasian Plate. After being eroded by rainwater, it presents a scene of strange and towering rocks, with exposed yellow earth and rugged peaks, reminiscent of the Yellow Mountain. Although it does not possess the grandeur of China's Yellow Mountain, it still has its unique charm, showcasing elegance and beauty amidst tranquility. Nearby is a small park called Xiao Huang Mountain Park, which features a simple stone pathway that encircles the area. From a distance, one can gaze at the opposite Xiao Huang Mountain, where occasional dust may rise, creating a sudden sense of desolate beauty. It is one of the unique attractions in Taitung characterized by tropical charm.
