Taitung Circular Bicycle Path (Shanhai Iron Horse Trail) Introduction
The Shanhai Bicycle Trail, also known as the Taitung City Circular Bicycle Path, connects three major bicycle systems: the old railway, the Forest Park, and the Coastal Highway. The total length of the route is 21 kilometers, perfectly encircling Taitung City. Along the way, it passes several popular attractions in Taitung City, including the Tiehua Village (including Taitung Wave House and Tiehua Village), Liyushan, Taitung Sugar Factory, Beinan Canal Water Conservation Park, Taitung Forest Park, and Taitung Seaside Park.
