Basi Gaobu Tribe (Taoyuan Tribe) Introduction
Upon arriving at Taoyuan Village, you can first visit the Bunun Cultural Park. The park showcases a rich collection of early tribal historical materials and artifacts, as well as performances of the Bunun's traditional songs, dances, and rituals, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the flow of time and embark on a journey to fully understand this community of mountains and forests. Inside the village, you’ll find it to be a small yet artsy place. The various facilities in the village are quite mini, including a tiny post office that gives off a warm feeling. If you enjoy weaving, don’t miss the Abus Workshop in Taoyuan Village, which features many traditional Bunun weaving techniques.
