Bashi Village (Taoyuan Village) Introduction
When visiting the Taoyuan Tribe, a great first stop is the Bunun Cultural Park. The park houses a rich collection of early documentary materials and artifacts from the old tribes, featuring performances of the Bunun's ancient musical tradition of Eight-Part Harmony as well as traditional dance and ritual ceremonies. This allows visitors to step into the flow of time and board the boat of the Bunun people, gaining a thorough understanding of these children of the mountains and forests. Once inside the tribe, you will find a small yet artful community. The various facilities within the tribe are quite miniaturized, including a charming little post office that creates a warm atmosphere.
