Basyang Tribe (Taoyuan Tribe) Introduction
In Taoyuan Village, you can first visit the Bunun Cultural Park. The park has a rich collection of early tribal historical materials and artifacts on display, as well as presentations of the Bunun's traditional polyphonic singing and ritual performances that have been passed down for a millennium. This allows visitors to immerse themselves in the flow of time and board the boat of the Bunun people, gaining a thorough understanding of these children of the mountains and forests. Once inside the village, you'll find a quaint community filled with artistic atmosphere. The facilities in the village are very small, with a tiny post office that feels very warm and inviting. Friends who enjoy weaving should not miss the Abus Workshop in Taoyuan Village, which features many traditional weaving items of the Bunun tribe.
