North Sea Visitor Service Center Introduction
The North Sea Tourist Service Center is located in Chikang Village, Baisha Township, Penghu County. It is the main tourist service center in the northern Penghu area, providing services such as information, waiting for boats, ticket purchasing, guided tours, and dining. It also offers lockers and luggage storage services for the convenience of travelers. The first floor houses the counters for various speedboat companies, the tourist service center, and a retail area, while the second floor features a restaurant for tourists to dine and wait for their boats. Next to the service center is Chikang Pier, the main departure point for speedboats to Ji Bei Island, Xianjiao Island, Mudou Island, and other northern offshore islands. Chikang Pier is also the most important squid fishing port in Baisha Township, with the squid harvesting season occurring from April to September. The North Sea Tourist Center offers a free motorcycle parking lot. Behind the parking lot is a rock wall about three stories high, featuring unique rock weathering patterns. Due to its higher elevation, it also retains a more complete landscape of cactus plants and fruits. There are also plans for a pavilion and wooden walkway on top. Adjacent to the tourist center is Chikang Beach, a coral shell fragment beach that remains clean due to its low visitor traffic. [Recommended stay time] 0.5 hours.
