North Sea Tourist Service Center Introduction
The North Sea Tourist Service Center is located in Chikang Village, Baisha Township, Penghu County. It serves as the main tourist service center in the northern Penghu area, offering services such as inquiries, ticket purchasing, boarding, explanations, and dining. The center also provides lockers and luggage storage for the convenience of travelers. The first floor houses the counters for various speedboat companies, along with the tourist service center and a retail shop, while the second floor features a restaurant for easy dining and waiting. Adjacent to the service center is Chikang Wharf, the main departure and arrival point for speedboats to nearby islands such as Jibei Island, Xianjiao Island, and Mudou Island. Chikang Wharf is also the most important squid fishing port in Baisha Township, with the squid season occurring from April to September each year. The North Sea Tourist Center offers a free motorcycle parking lot, and behind the parking lot stands a rock wall approximately three stories high, showcasing unique weathered rock formations. Due to the elevated terrain, a more complete view of cactus plants and fruits can be found here. There are also plans for a pavilion and wooden boardwalk. Beside the tourist center, there is Chikang Beach, a coral shell beach that remains clean due to its fewer visitors. 【Recommended stay time】 0.5 hours.
